The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial cleaning, excellent attendance record and reliable transportation. The Floor Technician will be responsible for doing projects to include strip/wax, scrub/recoat, keeping buildings in clean and orderly condition in various locations, and will perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, cleaning and stocking restrooms, washing walls, glass and upholstered furniture, and removing garbage and recycling. Duties may include notifying management of the need for repairs and safety issues.

Taking pride and ownership of your duties and or areas are crucial to success. What You Will Do Perform skilled professional flooring restoration services such as (but not limited to) epoxy and urethane coating applications, terrazzo honing/polishing, concrete grinding/polishing, marble polishing, epoxy grout colorant applications, etc. Perform restorative floor cleaning services.

Participates in specialized training, professional skill development. Complete information on each work order and report daily progress at the end of each shift. Properly use and secure any cards, keys, phones, tablets, or other company property.

Requirements: Valid Drivers License Ability to pass a Background Check Previous experience in epoxy coatings, terrazzo, concrete grinding/polishing, or flooring installation a plus Must have excellent mechanical skills; demonstrated ability to complete skilled, complex projects successfully Ability to do frequent lifting, pushing, pulling of equipment up to 75 pounds. Dependable and Punctual. Must be able to work indivudally.

This position requires the ability to sit, stand, walk, push, pull, reach overhead, reach at or below shoulder level, use foot or leg controls, gross manipulation, drive, stoop, crouch, kneel, climb ramps or stairs, climb ladders, utilize near and far visual activity, speak, hear, and lift or carry up to 35 lbs. This position requires individuals to be able to drive up to 90 minutes one-way. This role requires extensive walking indoors and some outdoors.

Some locations may have dust or debris in the air that may cause allergies. Noise levels are above average in some locations.
