Position: Full-Time Floor Care Technician About Us: At Absolut Center, we are dedicated to providing compassionate and high-quality care to our residents. We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Floor Care Technician to join our team and help us uphold our high standards of cleanliness and safety. Job Summary: The Floor Care Technician will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and safety of all flooring within the facility. This role involves performing routine cleaning, maintenance, and restorative tasks to ensure that all floor surfaces are in optimal condition for both residents and staff. Key Responsibilities: • Operate and maintain floor care equipment such as buffers, scrubbers, and vacuums. • Apply and remove floor finishes, waxes, and sealants according to manufacturer instructions and facility protocols. • Clean elevator tracks, stairwells and other surfaces. • Conduct regular inspections of floor surfaces to identify and address potential hazards or damage. • Respond promptly to spills, stains, and other urgent cleaning needs to prevent accidents and maintain a safe environment. • Collaborate with other facility staff to ensure that floor care tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. • Follow all safety guidelines and infection control procedures to ensure a hygienic environment for residents and staff. Qualifications: • Proven experience in floor care or custodial work. • Knowledge of various floor care techniques, equipment, and cleaning agents. • Ability to operate floor care machinery safely and effectively. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment. • Excellent organizational and time-management skills. • Must be able to work weekends. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Physical stamina to perform tasks that may involve bending, lifting, and prolonged standing.
