How much do full time first robotics jobs pay per year?

As of Jun 18, 2026, the average yearly pay for full time first robotics in the United States is $96,000.00, according to ZipRecruiter salary data. Most workers in this role earn between $90,000.00 and $102,000.00 per year, depending on experience, location, and employer.

What job makes $10,000 a month without a degree?

In the context of full-time robotics-related roles, high-paying positions such as robotics technicians, automation specialists, or engineering managers can earn around $10,000 per month, especially with experience and specialized skills. These jobs often require technical knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and familiarity with tools like CAD software or programming languages, but may not always require a traditional college degree.

What jobs will robots take first?

Robots are likely to take over repetitive and manual tasks first, such as assembly line work, packaging, and basic data entry. Jobs requiring routine physical or cognitive tasks are more vulnerable to automation before roles that need complex problem-solving or human interaction.

How to get an entry level robotics job?

To secure an entry-level robotics job, candidates should develop foundational skills in programming, electronics, and mechanical design, often through relevant coursework or certifications. Gaining hands-on experience with robotics kits, participating in competitions, and building a portfolio can improve employability. Familiarity with tools like CAD software and programming languages such as Python or C++ is also beneficial.

How much does first robotics pay?

First Robotics team members are typically volunteers or students and do not receive pay. However, some paid positions related to FIRST Robotics, such as mentors or coordinators, may earn hourly wages or stipends depending on the organization and location. Compensation varies widely based on role, experience, and whether the position is part-time or full-time.
