About the Role
The Business Analyst - Sales Operations & CRM is an early-career role responsible for supporting the commercial organization through strong organization, data management, and process discipline. This position partners closely with Sales Managers, the Quoting Team, and business leadership to maintain an accurate and organized quote pipeline, sales forecast, CRM system, and key commercial performance metrics.
Success in this role comes from exceptional attention to detail, strong Excel and analytical skills, and the ability to proactively follow up with stakeholders to ensure information is complete and current. This position enables better business decisions by improving the quality and timeliness of commercial data but is not directly responsible for achieving sales or quote-to-order conversion results.
What You'll Do
  • Maintain and organize the company's quote pipeline, ensuring all opportunities are accurately tracked from quotation through order.
  • Partner with Sales Managers to collect, update, and validate sales forecasts on a regular cadence.
  • Proactively follow up with Sales Managers to ensure forecast commitments, opportunity updates, and CRM records remain current.
  • Coordinate closely with the Quoting Team to monitor quote status, aging, and follow-up activities.
  • Track and report quote-to-order conversion metrics, quote aging, forecast accuracy, and other commercial KPIs.
  • Prepare recurring dashboards and reports for commercial leadership using Excel and CRM reporting tools.
  • Maintain CRM data quality by identifying incomplete, duplicate, or outdated information and coordinating corrective actions.
  • Support CRM governance by ensuring opportunities, customer contacts, and activities follow established business processes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting, data quality, and sales processes through automation and standardization.
  • Assist with sales meetings by preparing pipeline reviews, forecast reports, and action item tracking.
  • Serve as the primary coordinator for commercial data consistency across Sales, Customer Service, and the Quoting Team.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and reporting to support business decisions and commercial initiatives.

What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 0-3 years of professional experience in business analysis, sales operations, finance, customer service, or a related analytical role.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, (familiarity with PivotTables is a plus), lookup functions, charts, and data organization.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Comfortable following up with multiple stakeholders and driving completion of assigned actions.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or HubSpot.
  • Experience creating reports or dashboards using Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.
  • Exposure to manufacturing, aerospace, or industrial businesses.
  • Familiarity with quoting, forecasting, or sales operations processes.
