Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual, couples, and family therapy sessions, aiming to build strong therapeutic alliances and empower clients.
  • Perform in-depth assessments and develop tailored treatment plans addressing the unique needs of each client, ensuring they have clear, achievable goals throughout therapy.
  • Utilize family systems theory to assist in resolving issues related to communication, trust, and relationship dynamics while addressing external stressors affecting clients.
  • Provide immediate support and intervention during crisis situations, utilizing best practices in crisis management and ensuring the safety of clients and families.
  • Thoroughly document all client interactions, including progress notes and treatment plans, in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards.
  • Educate clients about effective coping strategies, relationship-building skills, and conflict-resolution techniques to enhance their overall well-being.
  • Collaborate closely with other professionals, including therapists and medical staff, to provide holistic care tailored to each client's needs.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development, staying updated with the latest research and advancements in marriage and family therapy.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client demographic is diverse, comprising individuals, couples, and families from varied backgrounds facing a range of mental health challenges. These may include issues related to divorce, grief, parenting struggles, relationship conflicts, and trauma. Your role as an LMFT will be essential in fostering resilience and facilitating healing in these relationships.

Qualifications
  • Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Massachusetts or the state where you reside.
  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree, with a preference for candidates holding a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related discipline.
  • At least one year of professional experience as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, demonstrating your ability to create impactful therapeutic relationships.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills necessary for building rapport and trust with clients.
  • A commitment to upholding ethical counseling practices and maintaining client confidentiality.
  • The ability to work independently and efficiently while being an active team player in our multidisciplinary approach to therapy.
  • Flexibility in scheduling hours to meet the diverse needs of our clients.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience in outpatient therapy settings is preferred, particularly in working with addiction and family-centric issues.
