Job Overview

Gulfstream Park is seeking a creative, motivated, and social savvy Content Creator & Video Editor with a modern mindset and approach to join our Marketing team. This individual should be skilled in capturing, producing, and editing compelling content that showcases the excitement of live horse racing, dining, special events, and guest experiences. The ideal candidate is a proactive creator with a strong eye for story-telling and a solid understanding of current social media trends. Ability to work independently and collaboratively, creating compelling content in line with company standards to drive engagement and brand awareness.


We are open to seeing all video/editing work; however, applicants must submit a portfolio related to social media output to be considered for this position.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Capture high-quality photo and video content during live racing, special events, promotions, dining experiences, and other on-site activities and activations.
  • Edit short-form video content for social platforms including some or all of the following: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, YouTube.
  • Assist in developing social-first content concepts in collaboration with the team, aligning with current trends, while also maintaining brand standards.
  • Create engaging videos for reels, stories, behind-the-scenes content, interviews, and promotional videos.
  • Collaborate closely with the department to generate creative ideas and concepts that support overall campaign goals.
  • Work in conjunction with the Marketing team to support event promotions, campaigns, and brand initiatives.
  • Uphold quality standards and brand integrity.
  • Manage planned content capture through final delivery, sometimes under tight deadlines.
  • Maintain an organized content library of video, photography, and digital assets.
  • Monitor social media trends, platform updates, and emerging content formats to identify new opportunities.
  • Assist with live social coverage during key events and race days.
  • Capture content that highlights wagering, hospitality, experience, and overall venue energy.


Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of professional content creation, videography, or editing experience.
  • Portfolio demonstrating content capture, storytelling, and editing capabilities.
  • Proficiency in creative editing platforms such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar.
  • Experience shooting content with both mobile devices and professional cameras, with emphasis on vertical iPhone shooting (shooting will primarily be executed on an iPhone).
  • Strong communication and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple creative projects simultaneously.
  • Thorough understanding of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other social platforms.
  • Comfortable working weekends and holidays as event schedules may require.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment alongside a variety of people and personalities.
  • Efficient in operating modern office equipment.
