UP Scaffolding Company, Inc. is seeking a motivated, organized, and customer-focused Assistant Office Manager to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to build valuable experience in office administration, business operations, customer service, and the construction industry.

As the Assistant Office Manager, you will play a key role in supporting daily office operations, interacting with customers and contractors, and helping ensure our office runs efficiently.

Responsibilities
  • Greet visitors and provide excellent customer service.
  • Answer and direct calls on a multi-line phone system.
  • Perform data entry, filing, proofreading, and document management.
  • Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, and calendars.
  • Support billing, invoicing, and bookkeeping functions using QuickBooks and other software.
  • Maintain office records and organized filing systems.
  • Coordinate office supplies and administrative tasks.
  • Work closely with management, warehouse personnel, customers, and contractors.
Qualifications
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace.
  • Experience in customer service, office administration, reception, or clerical work preferred.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • QuickBooks or bookkeeping experience is a plus but not required.
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
  • Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn.
Work Environment

This position is located in a construction and contractor supply warehouse environment. Candidates should be comfortable working in an active industrial setting around construction materials, equipment, deliveries, and contractors.
