Local Team Collaboration:
  • We're a welcoming team of 6 physicians and 2 advanced practitioners who work closely with other hospital staff and departments at Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center to deliver the best possible quality of care to our patients.
  • Our dedicated team consists of two physicians and one APP during the day as well as one physician Nocturnist at night.
  • We have diverse clinicians from various geographic, educational, and training backgrounds, all of whom possess strong clinical acumen and an unwavering commitment to exceptional patient care.
  • We are creating an environment conducive to flexibility and innovation for experienced clinicians.
  • Our dedicated site coordinator will help maintain a healthy work-life balance.
  • Sound's team also covers the Emergency Department at Cedar Hill RMC.

Qualifications:
  • A Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Board-certified/eligible in internal medicine or family medicine.
  • J1 visa sponsorship available.

Scheduling:
  • Full-time position follows a 7-days-on, 7-days-off rotation.
  • Nocturnist hours are 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Key Responsibilities:
  • As a Nocturnist, you will experience 2-6 admissions and be responsible for cross coverage on approximately 50 patients.
  • Closed ICU with intensivist coverage 24/7. No procedural responsibility.
  • We hold monthly team meetings to stay current on the latest medical developments at the hospital and with Sound.
  • We work in Oracle Health (formerly Cerner) with access to our internal informatics platform.
  • We are entertaining candidates looking for full-time, part-time, and PRN shifts.

Rewards and Compensation:
  • The base salary for a full-time day hospitalist is $340,000/year, with opportunities for performance-based bonuses and growth. Additional compensation is paid for shifts worked above full-time commitment.
