Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Compliance Engineer to become an integral part of our development team. The right candidate will assist in the design, testing, and certification of our electronic products, which will be expected to meet certain agency compliance criteria including UL, CE, and TUV.

Required Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Review BOMs, electrical schematics, and PCB layout, to ensure compatibility with agency requirements.
  • Work with 3rd party agencies and outside labs to meet certification deadlines.
  • Perform tests including temperature, HI Pot and EMC measurements. Provide reports as needed.
  • Review regulatory documentation associated with AMC products.
  • Travel to outside labs for certification testing.
  • Additional job duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-years work experience in design, testing, or compliance of industrial electronics.
  • Minimum BS degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous experience with servo drive design, certification, and testing.
  • Previous experience in meeting regulatory standards such as UL/IEC 61800-5-1, EN 61000-6, and IEC 61508.
  • Experience with UL/IEC 60601for Medical Devices.
  • Electrical design experience.
  • Understanding of electrical circuits and components behavior and their parasitic elements and interactions.
  • Knowledge of design practices to suppress EMI and achieve high EMC across control and power spectrums.

Required Education:

  • Minimum BS degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields.
    • Option: Minimum AS degree in Engineering or related fields will require minimum 10-years related experience.

Other Requirements:

  • Will be required to travel to outside labs for testing.
  • Occasionally/frequently: stand, walk, sit, use both hands, and carry/lift/push/pull to 25 lbs.
  • We are ITAR Registered. Hired candidate must be a US Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident.
  • This is a full-time position located at our Camarillo, CA facility. Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm, with additional hours/days as required.

Pay Range: $75,000-$95,000 annual salary
