Job description

Role: EMC Compliance Engineer

Location: Irvine, CA (Onsite)

Employment Type: Contract (C2C)

Interview Mode: Phone/Video

Overview: Seeking an EMC Compliance Engineer to lead EMI/EMC and Environmental Compliance testing for avionics products. Must have handson RTCA DO160G testing experience, with strong troubleshooting, qualification, and certification background in aerospace/avionics.

Key Skills:

  • RTCA DO160G compliance testing (EMI/EMC, Environmental, Safety)

  • Avionics industry experience

  • Root cause analysis & corrective actions

  • Product qualification & certification support

  • FCC & regulatory submissions

  • Test documentation & compliance reporting


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s in Electrical Engineering or related field

  • 5+ years EMC/EMI & Environmental Compliance testing

  • Strong avionics compliance background

  • Safety compliance testing experience

  • Regulatory submission knowledge (FCC, certification bodies)


Preferred Skills:

  • Wireless compliance (WiFi, Cellular, NFC)

  • International standards: LVD, RED, EMCD

  • Multiproduct certification support
