Full Job Description
The Embroidery and Apparel Printing Specialist is responsible for the in-house embroidery and apparel printing for Getfastshirt.com. This role will handle large volume embroidery and apparel printing orders, special orders, maintain and clean machines, and package orders. They will be responsible for the operation of embroidery machines and other apparel printing machines such as DTG, Vinyl, Heat press, and etc. The ideal candidate is energetic with an excellent work ethic and attention to detail. This position is a full-time hourly role.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Read, interpret and complete embroidery and apparel printing orders based on the provided orders at Getfastshirt.com
  • Be able to effectively self-manage and organize jobs in order to complete orders in a timely manner
  • Ensure all embroidery instructions are followed accurately regarding logo design, placement, and thread colors
  • Prepare machine for garments, which includes loading digitized designs into machine network, manual thread color changes, and needle changes when appropriate
  • Clean, maintain and setup machines for each job
  • Control and adjust machine settings
  • Inspect garments for quality prior to removing from machine with speed and accuracy
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Keep the area around the workstation clean to maintain a safe working environment

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Embroidery machine experience required
  • Digitizing and graphics experience is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is required
  • Ability to understand and follow job instructions, both verbal and written
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Structured, organized and efficient
  • Ability to adapt to multiple areas of apparel production
  • Comfortable working in a climate-controlled environment
