Job description

Hunt Electric, Inc. of Salt Lake City, UT. is looking for an Electrical Material Handler to join our team. Our ideal candidate should be outgoing, highly energetic, goal-oriented, and able to work well in a team environment onsite on our 2 year Data Center project in Sparks, Nevada.
The Electrical Material Handler will assist with the coordination of all the material and equipment including deliveries and material movement onsite at our R jobsite. This position will be responsible for inventory, cycle counts, organization, and electrical teams' needs by creative thinking and the ability to create and implement improvements to the logistics process.
Major Duties:
  • Coordinate the receipt of electrical materials and equipment for timely delivery to the storage area or location of final installation.
  • Organize, manage, and maintain material and equipment in a neat manner.
  • Report delivery issues/discrepancies to field leaders.
  • Provide additional support as needed to meet deadlines.
  • Cycle counts for onsite inventory.
  • Experience with an all terrain forklift.
  • Actively contributes to a positive team environment.
  • Demonstrates dependability with regular attendance and compliance to scheduled work hours.
  • Demonstrate an aptitude for learning, goal-oriented mindset for continual growth, with a "Can-Do" positive attitude.
  • Other duties or locations as assigned by Manager.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Electrical parts and equipment knowledge.
  • 2 years' experience in logistics including shipping & receiving, inventory control, and material handling in an onsite construction setting.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products; specifically, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Construction site delivery driving experience.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • High School/GED.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean MVR.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Have an OSHA 10 Construction that is issued in the past 5 years.
