Job description

Adecco is currently assisting a local Customer in their search for a Material Handler in Independence, OR. This is a great opportunity to further your existing skills as a Material Handler while learning new ones to assist you in your career. Responsibilities for a Material Handler include but are not limited to:

  1. Ensure the continuous flow of organic materials through the shakers.

  2. Inform heavy equipment operators when shakers need to be replenished with material.

  3. Break up material buildup to prevent bridging and maintain workflow.

  4. Maintain finishing screens by scraping and cleaning to ensure proper product flow.

  5. Restack pallets and support warehouse cleanup efforts.

  6. Report equipment issues to maintenance personnel and support safe operations.

Candidates for Material Handler must meet the following requirements to be considered:

  1. High School Diploma or GED required.

  2. Entry-level experience welcome.

  3. Electrical troubleshooting, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repair experience preferred.

  4. Ability to work in dusty environments and varying weather conditions, including hot, cold, and rainy conditions.

  5. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
