Location: Miami, FL

Your Role at Acousti
As a Drywall Finisher, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and precision of drywall installations for our commercial and residential projects. Working closely with a dynamic team, you will help maintain Acousti's high standards and reputation for excellence.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
• Read and interpret project blueprints to plan and execute tasks effectively
• Measure, cut, and install materials, including metal molding, ensuring precision and durability
• Prepare wall surfaces for finishing by spreading, smoothing, and sanding sealing compounds over joints, cracks, and holes
• Embed tape into sealing compounds using trowels, spatulas, or mechanical applicators, blending joints seamlessly with wall surfaces
• Apply primers, texturizing compounds, or additional coats to create smooth, paint-ready surfaces while ensuring adhesives are durable
• Operate scaffolds, aerial lifts, ladders, stilts, powder-actuated tools, and lasers while maintaining safety compliance
• Work independently or collaboratively to meet construction schedules and industry standards indoors and outdoors
• Perform other duties as assigned, maintaining flexibility to adapt to project needs
What We're Looking for in You
To succeed in this role, you should have:
  • Proven experience in drywall installation and repair
  • Knowledge of industry tools and materials
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings
  • Ability and Willingness to travel throughout the central Florida region.
  • Experience in commercial drywall projects
