Funky Fridas - Bartender
Pay Range
$12.15 an hr. +tips. $15.15 an hr. when training and attending meetings.
Description
Bartenders provide top-notch customer service while maintaining control of the bar, making drinks for bar and restaurant patrons, and handling financial transactions. You must have extensive knowledge of liquor mixed drinks, wine and our craft beer and spirits. Thinking quickly, awareness of surroundings and monitoring patrons for signs that they have had too much alcohol are also required skills.

-Welcoming guests, reading and listening to people to determine beverage preferences, making recommendations, and taking drink orders.
-Planning drink menus and informing guests about new beverages and specials.
-Selecting and mixing ingredients, garnishing glasses, and serving beverages to guests.
-Checking identification to ensure guests are the legal age to purchase alcohol.
-Adhering to all food safety and quality regulations.
-Handling cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to patrons, balancing the cash register.
-Maintaining a clean work and dining area by removing trash, cleaning tables, and washing glasses, utensils, and equipment.
REQUIREMENTS
-Title 4 Liquor Certification
-Food Handlers Certification
-2 Years of Recent Bartending Experience
-Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
-Must be at least 19 years of age to serve alcohol in the state of Arizona
-Ability to stand, walk, bend, etc for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lbs.
