Job description

The Bedford County Sheriff's Department is currently accepting applications for full time Dispatcher-Communications Clerk. This is a night shift position. As per general orders, the Dispatcher/Communications Clerk is responsible for providing citizens efficient and effective assistance including receiving reports from the public regarding crimes, disturbances, and police emergencies and relaying pertinent information to law enforcement. This position works under the overall supervision of the Bedford County Sheriff.
