Customer Service Representative (Call Center) Description:

Calling all customer service and call center all-stars. Store Supply Warehouse is adding dedicated service minded professionals to join our team as a Customer Service Specialist at our main headquarters in Bridgeton, MO. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the point person for customer questions/concerns, inbound customer calls, and entering orders. The customer service department at Store Supply Warehouse is a collaborative, goal-oriented environment with a laser focus on our customers and our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing an excellent customer experience through various channels (phone, email, chat) by addressing customer questions, concerns, and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Proactively engage with potential customers through outbound calls and emails to introduce Store Supply Warehouse.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Stay up to date with SSW product knowledge and industry trends to effectively communicate benefits to customers.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend the appropriate products/services to meet those needs.

Customer Service Representative Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or a GED is required
  • Customer Service experience of 1 year or more in a call center is preferred but not required; Store Supply Warehouse will train all new employees, including data base softwares
  • Must be computer literate, proficient in Data Entry and Typing, a must.
  • Ability to navigate between different websites and multitask
  • Ability to work in a quick-paced customer service environment; troubleshoot and take corrective action to resolve issues, if necessary
  • Experience with outbound sales, telemarketing, or company/product introductions, a plus.
  • Fluent in Spanish is a plus, but not required
  • Willingness to maintain a safe and ethical work environment, and work as an effective team member
