We are an integrated communications consultancy that solves business problems for tech companies, and while our heritage lies in earned media and PR, we increasingly execute "blended" campaigns that use content to tap into owned and paid media, as well as other digital modalities.
As a Digital Account Manager, you'll take the lead in developing and executing digital and social strategies for B2B tech clients. You'll serve as a trusted partner to clients, managing day-to-day program delivery, mentoring junior team members, and ensuring our digital work is strategic, creative, and measurable.
Skills and Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage digital and social programs for multiple clients, ensuring flawless execution and strategic alignment with client goals.
  • Manage client communications and deliverables, leading calls, presenting updates, and proactively identifying opportunities to strengthen programs.
  • Develop and oversee social media content strategies, manage communities, content calendars, and campaigns that drive engagement and measurable results.
  • Ideate and create quality, error free work on multiple social and digital channels.
  • Proven ability to lead projects from planning to execution with precision, time management while maintaining high-quality outcomes.
  • Measure success on all platforms, sharing actionable insights with your account teams and clients.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, demonstrating an ability to be engaging and simplify complex concepts.
  • Work with the PR teams to uncover opportunities to provide additional services to clients, expanding digital engagement.
  • Manage direct report(s) while coaching and mentoring junior team members, providing feedback, actionable steps, and setting goals to support career advancement at Hoffman.
  • Work effectively across teams and departments, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and accountability.
  • Support new business opportunities through developing campaign strategy, pitching ideas to clients, and providing creative input.
  • Utilize our digital tech stack to work smarter and measure performance.
  • Collaborate effectively with global digital colleagues across the U.S., Asia, and Europe to share learnings and drive innovation.
  • Stay current on, promote and evangelize integrated digital best practices across the Agency - including new channels and strategies that keep us ahead of the curve.
  • Stay ahead of digital trends, bringing fresh ideas and emerging best practices to client and internal teams.
  • Track the effectiveness of social media posts, campaigns and creative then recommend optimizations.

Functional Expertise
  • Strong understanding of B2B social media best practices (especially LinkedIn).
  • Experience developing content, platform, and campaign strategies tailored to client objectives.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills - able to simplify complex concepts and inspire confidence with clients.
  • Solid foundation in project and account management, balancing multiple clients and priorities.
  • Background and solid experience with:
  • Social media management and listening platforms like Sprout Social, Agility, Hootsuite, etc.
  • Data analytics and supporting tools like Google Analytics
  • Paid social campaign management and execution
  • GEO/SEO, SEM, PPC and other tactics that fall under the digital umbrella
  • Marketing automation platforms like HubSpot and/or Marketo is also a plus

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, PR/Advertising, Communications, Journalism or Liberal Arts
  • 4-6 years of digital and social media experience (agency experience is preferred).
  • Report into one of our office locations (Boston, Portland, or San Jose).
  • Strong understanding of the tech sector and enthusiasm for emerging technologies.
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships, lead campaigns, and collaborate across teams.
  • A proactive problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment.
  • Adept at problem-solving and loves a challenge.
  • Has a sense of humor - required!
