Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment to support safe and efficient operations. This role includes troubleshooting issues, performing preventive maintenance, ensuring safety compliance, and supporting continuous improvement across the facility.


Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, repair and conduct PMs on all mechanical, electrical and electronic equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with Lockout/tag out requirements and all applicable safety requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and work on system peripherals of PLC controls
  • Conduct daily walk-through of facility noting deficiencies and initiating corrective action.
  • Uses computers to document maintenance and PM actions and parts usage in CMMS
  • Communicate effectively at all levels within the facility
  • Operate powered lifting equipment in support of maintenance functions.
  • Analyze, understand and apply equipment knowledge to process improvements.
  • Train others in mechanical, electrical and facility level roles as needed.
  • Ability to perform job requirements using equipment including but not limited to: stairs, ladders, various types of lifts, electrical testing equipment, mechanical repair equipment and other types of tools.
  • Meet performance, production and departmental goals.
  • Backfill maintenance positions as necessary.
  • Quality - Ensures quality by continually watching for any abnormality and reporting it timely
  • Other duties as assigned


What you'll bring?

  • Associates degree or equivalent experience desired.
  • Two (2) years or more of related experience and/or technical, mechanical or electrical training is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work variable shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts
  • Ability to work in extreme heat ability to work at heights of 40ft or more.
  • Ability to use mathematic skills to perform simple calculations in a work environment.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, stoop, climb, Kneel and reach. Some repetitive work
  • Ability to analyze a variety of systemic problems and based on the analysis, recommend and take a proper course of action.

Work Environment

Work area is a manufacturing environment which is not climate-controlled year-round with noise levels ranging from moderate to loud requiring hearing protection. 12-hour shift on a rotating schedule (2-2-3)


Salary Range:

Starting at $19hr
