Driver Helper/Warehouse Associate Technician

Description

EWASTE+ is looking for motivated, reliable team members to join our outstanding Ossining Logistics and Operations team! This is a hands-on, fast-paced opportunity ideal for individuals who enjoy physical work, staying active, and being part of a supportive team environment.

In this role, team members will assist with the collection, transportation, sorting, and processing of electronic equipment for recycling and resale operations. Responsibilities may include working alongside drivers on customer pickups, warehouse processing, inventory tracking, and secure data destruction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with pickup and transportation of electronic equipment from customer locations
  • Palletize, shrink-wrap, label, and prepare equipment for shipment
  • Sort and identify incoming electronic equipment according to customer specifications
  • Scan serial numbers and maintain accurate records using databases and Excel reports
  • Remove hard drives and components for secure destruction
  • Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment safely
  • Organize incoming loads and move materials throughout the facility
  • Support warehouse, dock, and logistics operations as needed
  • Deliver exceptional customer service with a professional and positive attitude

Shift: Monday - Friday

Typical Hours:

  • Driver Helper: 6:30am - End of Route
  • Warehouse Associate: 7:00am - 3:30pm

40 hours guarenteed!

Pay: $18.00 an hour & a $4,000 Annual Production Incentive payed out Quarterly!

Position Requirements

  • Ability to frequently lift and move up to 40 pounds
  • Comfortable standing, bending, kneeling, balancing, and walking throughout the shift
  • Ability to push and pull equipment using pallet jacks
  • Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude
  • Excellent organizational and customer service skills
  • Forklift experience and manufacturing background are a plus

About the OrganizationEWASTE+ is a R2/RIOS Certified Electronics Recycler ITAD company and a licensed NAID AAA Certified Data Destruction Contractor.

EWASTE+ focuses on the recovery of value from idle, obsolete and excess electronic equipment and operates a large-scale processing facility in Victor, New York (near Rochester) and two regional consolidation facilities in Albany and New York City. In 2025, EWASTE+ expanded its footprint by adding Take 2 Recycling, based in Waterbury, Connecticut, enhancing its service reach across the Northeast.
