Job description

The Culinary Data/ Purchasing Clerk will be responsible for compiling data accurately and efficiently for the Culinary Department. These responsibilities will be performed in a manner consistent with the mission, vision, operating philosophies and standards for the Dollywood Company.

Additionally, the ideal candidate will be able to display and live out Lead with Love qualities, strongly rooted in the Dollywood Company culture, by being patient, kind, trusting, unselfish, truthful, forgiving, dedicated and accountable.

Summary of Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Complete daily reports and necessary communication to the Culinary team
  • Assist Culinary Purchaser with creating and reconciling Purchase orders
  • Assist Culinary Purchaser with reviewing and submitting all orders
  • Support with Culinary Technology:
    • System Administrator in Crunch Time
    • Assist Culinary Analyst with Technology Maintenance
  • Gather necessary data related to special projects as requested by the Culinary Purchaser, Culinary Analyst, Food Operations Managers, Senior Operations Managers, Culinary Director, VP of Culinary and Executive Chefs
  • Support with gathering necessary data for daily/weekly/ analysis as requested by the Culinary Purchaser
  • Support Culinary Purchaser with vendor communication and service requests
  • Assist Culinary Purchaser with credit requests and tracking
  • Serve as backup to the Culinary Purchaser in their absence
  • Assist with compiling and maintaining up-to-date allergen information documentation
  • Answer phones in a professional and friendly manner
  • Support Park Revenue Team when necessary

    Education and Experience Required

    • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
    • High School Degree or equivalent
    • College degree recommended. Minimum two years of general data entry experience and/or two-year accounting degree
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to write reports with clear and concise wording
    • Proven skills in time manager and strong organizational skills
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Must successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug screen

    Physical Requirements | Environmental Conditions

    • Lifting and Carrying: Position may require occasional to frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs utilizing company’s safety guidelines for safe lifting
