Position: Mechanical Drafter

Location: Mars, PA 16046

Salary: $55K/yr - $60K/yr + Benefits

Full-Time Role/Direct-Hire

Job Description:

We’re seeking a Contract Mechanical Drafter/Modeler to support active engineering and design projects. This role focuses on creating and maintaining 3D models and 2D technical drawings for valve assemblies and mechanical components in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

What You’ll Do
  • Create and update 3D assemblies and 2D drawings using CAD tools
  • Apply correct tolerances, materials, GD&T, and drafting standards
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and sales teams on design updates
  • Support ECOs, document control, and PDM systems
  • Assist production teams with drawing interpretation and technical support
What We’re Looking For
  • Degree/certification in Drafting, CAD, Engineering Tech, or 2+ years experience
  • Proficiency in AutoDesk, SolidWorks, Creo, or similar CAD tools
  • Strong understanding of mechanical design, 2D/3D modeling, and manufacturing processes
  • Experience with ERP/PDM systems is a plus
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred
  • Inventor & AutoCAD experience
  • BOM creation from 3D models
  • Industrial or water/wastewater project experience
