• Conduct individualized mental health counseling for clients via secure video sessions, fostering a supportive therapeutic environment.
• Employ solution-focused methodologies to address clients' specific mental health needs, tailoring each session to facilitate effective outcomes.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments, ensuring that each client’s unique circumstances are considered.
• Assist clients in developing insights into their feelings and relationships through guided discussions, promoting self-awareness and healing.

In this role, you will primarily work with stable, low-acuity adults who present with diverse mental health conditions ranging from anxiety and depression to relationship issues. Your guidance will be pivotal in helping these individuals cultivate the skills they need to enhance their overall quality of life. The Lifecare Counseling and Services emphasizes an empowering approach, equipping clients to actively participate in their healing journeys.

• A Master’s degree in a counseling-related discipline, such as Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
• A current and unrestricted state-issued mental health counseling license (LMFT, LCPC, LCSW) is required to ensure independent practice. Please specify your credentials and licensed state in your application.
• No provisional or limited licenses; candidates with disciplinary actions on their licensing records will not be considered.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a compassionate demeanor, essential for building therapeutic relationships.
• Strong proficiency in computer skills, with the ability to navigate virtual therapy platforms efficiently.
• A reliable computer equipped with webcam and audio capabilities for conducting video sessions and a dependable internet connection.

A minimum of two years of direct counseling experience is preferred, allowing successful candidates to bring comprehensive insights and methodologies into their practice. Experience working with a diverse client base in a clinical setting will be particularly valuable.
