As a member of our outpatient office network, you will interact with clients through a secure online platform designed for seamless communication and scheduling. As a Remote Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Conducting one-on-one video counseling sessions with clients experiencing emotional and mental health challenges.
• Carefully screening clients to ensure only stable adults with low acuity access your services.
• Facilitating discussions that encourage clients to explore and express their emotions and experiences, promoting self-insight and healthier relationships.
• Evaluating and diagnosing a variety of emotional and mental disorders, including but not limited to anxiety, stress, grief, and depression.
• Developing personalized treatment plans utilizing a solution-focused approach based on clinical best practices.
• Monitoring client progress throughout the treatment process and adjusting strategies as needed to foster resilience and effective coping mechanisms.

Your primary focus will be on working with emotionally struggling adults who seek support in navigating their mental health challenges. All clients are pre-screened to ensure a safe and conducive therapeutic environment, allowing you to provide essential services without the burden of marketing your practice or dealing with fluctuating caseloads. To qualify for this position, candidates must possess the following:

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
• An independent license in California, such as:
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
  • Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Strong computer literacy to effectively engage with our digital platforms and client management systems.
