Job description

We are seeking an experienced Production Technician to support operations in a hose processing and redistribution area within a manufacturing facility. The role involves handling returned hoses, unwinding and rewinding them onto reels, preparing them for cleaning, capping, and sorting for redistribution to distribution centers. This position requires hands-on involvement with production processes, strong attention to safety, and the ability to operate and support production equipment. Candidates will work across multiple areas of the facility to maintain workflow efficiency, productivity, and quality standards. Opportunity for full-time conversion is available after 60-90 days for the right individual.
Responsibilities:
• Unwind returned hoses, rewind them onto reels, and transport them for cleaning, capping, and binning for redistribution
• Assist in operating production equipment and support manufacturing operations across different facility areas
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety in assigned work areas
• Relieve operators during breaks and assist with workflow continuity
• Follow Lock-Out-Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures, facility safety policies, and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Improve understanding of production processes to support productivity improvement and waste reduction
Qualifications:
• 5-10 years of experience in manufacturing, production operations, or industrial environments
• Experience operating production equipment and supporting material handling processes
• Knowledge of Lock-Out-Tag-Out (LOTO) and workplace safety compliance
• Ability to work in physically demanding environments and handle repetitive tasks
• Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and commitment to safety standards
