We are a multinational team of dedicated media, blockchain, and product design professionals with a successful entrepreneurial track record. Inspired by Creators, we are democratizing the Creator Economy to help Creators finance their ambitions, partner with Investors, and do what they love.
We are seeking a self-motivated and experienced full-time Partnership Manager with a deep working knowledge of the Creator Economy (especially Gen Z and Millennial YouTube Creators, TikTok Creators, etc.) to join our passionate startup team. Reporting to the VP of Partnerships, this role will work closely with Marketing and the leadership team to collaboratively develop and implement prospect and sales strategies to fill and manage a B2C sales pipeline.
The successful candidate should have a proven track record of negotiating and securing sponsorship deals on behalf of YouTube Creators and should have experience working with MCNs to manage and grow channels. They should also have a strong understanding of the business and financial aspects of the Creator Economy, including advertising and sponsorship revenue streams, and use this knowledge to identify and pursue new partnership opportunities.
Besides having the spark to establish rapport and build relationships, the perfect candidate enjoys exceeding revenue targets and has proven success in previous positions.
Responsibilities
  • Own the partnership and sales cycle along with outreach and social selling efforts
  • Conduct market research to identify key targets and evaluate Creators' needs
  • Master the GigaStar methodology and framework
  • Identify, prospect, and connect with YouTube Creators within targeted categories
  • Actively seek new partnership opportunities through email, text, cold calling, networking, and social media, with the discipline for diligent follow-up
  • Schedule meetings via video chat with potential Creators to understand their goals and clearly articulate GigaStar's benefits, model, and process
  • Simplify complex ideas in a persuasive manner that clearly articulates the value proposition
  • Manage a book of business through existing relationships and inbound leads
  • Possess a knack for customizing sales conversations to each prospect's needs
  • Attend yearly in-person Creator-focused conferences and events on behalf of GigaStar
  • Help negotiate/close deals and assist in providing a white glove service experience
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve better results and incorporate customer feedback into the product

Requirements & Skills
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Must be fluent in English
  • 3-5+ years of proven experience in a relevant Sales and/or Partnership role
  • Exceptional verbal / written communication, customer service, and presentation skills
  • An understanding of social selling, content creation, video, social media, and influencers
  • A strong network of relationships with YouTube Creators and influencer agencies
  • Experience in YouTube-related sales, influencer sales/marketing, advertising sales, YouTube MCN agency experience, or similar
  • Demonstrated ability to convert prospects and close deals to achieve targets
  • Working knowledge of Google applications, Microsoft Office, Slack, or similar tools
