Pay Rate: ~$24~$25~/hr DOE

Job Description
  • Manage and coordinate warehouse & transportation operation by tracking freight from origin to destination
  • Manage data across both warehouse & transportation business as needed by Management
  • Communicate closely with customers to ensure smooth operation without issues and service satisfaction
  • Proactively identify and assess a solution to cost incurrence such as demurrage, detention and work for smooth resolution to protect company and its customers
  • Monitor LSP performance continually and evaluate, with feedback provided on a routine basis
  • Communicate with carriers & associated vendors on a frequent and consistent basis
  • Process container returns, bobtail decisions related to overall logistics operation for proper handling of business
  • Other responsibilities as required by the Site Manager, Warehouse Manager & Transportation Manager
Qualifications
  • 3+ years operation or logistics related relevant experience
  • Strong understanding of freight & logistics systems
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, High school GED required
  • Ability to effectively work under the pressure of deadlines in a multi-task, production environment
  • Detail oriented, with the ability to thoroughly research, analyze and develop solutions to complex processing and workflow issues
  • Ability to quickly grasp situational issues and derive solution to problem
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel with v-lookups and pivot tables
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and organizational skills including effective written and verbal communication skills to communicate with various levels of the organization
