Allworld Building Group (AWBG), the general contracting division of Allworld Project Management, is expanding! We are looking to add a Construction Superintendent to our dynamic team. AWPM is based in Downtown Memphis, TN. This position is full-time onsite in Memphis, TN at the various project locations.

About the Role

As Construction Superintendent you will ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget, while maintaining the highest standards of quality. Your expertise will be instrumental in coordinating with subcontractors, managing site operations, and fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects from start to finish. 
  • Coordinate and supervise the work of subcontractors and on-site personnel. 
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations on the construction site. 
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones. 
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work. 
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process. 
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure project alignment. 
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports. 
  • Manage procurement of materials and equipment necessary for the project. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred 
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in construction management or related field 
  • Proven track record in supervising commercial or residential construction projects 
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, means, and methods 
  • Proficient in project management software and construction management tools 
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering plans 
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal construction regulations and safety standards 
  • Ability to coordinate multiple teams and manage subcontractors 
  • OSHA certification or similar safety training 
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation 
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets and project costs 
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time and within budget
