JOB SUMMARY

Experience looking at plans, setting both metal and wood forms ahead of hand-placed and slipform concrete placing operations. Perform tasks involving physical labor at construction projects. Requires good communication skills and working with all levels of personnel and management.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities:

  • Set the forms that hold concrete to the desired pitch and depth and alignment for roads, drives, curb, median, sidewalks walks and concrete slabs
  • Using hand and power tools
  • Read and understand grade stakes
  • Direct pouring concrete as needed
  • Physical work is expected as a form setter and assist the crews as necessary
  • Abide by all company regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Educational requirements: High school/ GED and minimum 3 years of related work experience
  • Job is physically intense and requires, Bending, Kneeling, Stooping, Crouching, Twisting, Standing, and carrying over 50lbs
  • Ability to effectively work with all levels of personnel and management.
  • Self-motivated and able to work productively with minimal supervision.
  • Must have a valid Nebraska driver’s license.
  • Ability to work overtime including nights and weekends if required to meet project schedule
