Project Manager – Oversee Ground-Up Commercial Builds up to $10M


Job Overview

The Opportunity As a Project Manager at Progressive Builders Inc., you will take full ownership of high-stakes commercial developments from inception to completion. You will lead the strategic execution of projects valued up to $10 million, utilizing your expertise to maintain our reputation for excellence in the commercial sector. This role is designed for a self-motivated leader ready to drive results within a supportive, family-owned environment.


How You Will Make an Impact

  • Execute comprehensive project life cycles for commercial builds with budgets reaching $10 million.
  • Manage all phases of construction.
  • Coordinate with field superintendents and subcontractors to ensure seamless onsite operations.
  • Track project financial health through detailed budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control measures.
  • Facilitate clear communication between stakeholders, architects, and field teams to hit milestones.
  • Negotiate and manage vendor contracts to ensure high-quality materials and timely deliveries.
  • Implement proactive problem-solving strategies to mitigate risks and keep projects on schedule.
  • Interact with and maintain our long time clients and manage their expectations.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of dedicated experience in commercial construction project management.
  • Proficiency in estimating a project.
  • Proven track record managing ground-up projects with budgets of $10 million or more.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or a related field.
  • Advanced proficiency in reading blueprints and managing multi-disciplinary construction teams.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Specialized experience in petroleum-based construction or industrial facility projects.
  • Strong history of long-term employment and loyalty within the construction industry.
  • Advanced technical proficiency with modern construction management software and tools.
  • Familiarity with Sage Estimating, Sure Track, and Plan Swift, or similar software.

  • Competitive $105,000-$112,000 annual salary with a performance-based Year-End Bonus.
