Job Description:

  • Coordinates HRIS data entry including Qualifying Events, COBRA administration, Open Enrollment, etc.
  • First point of contact for general/ad hoc queries for the team
  • Conduct weekly New Hire Benefits Orientation
  • Respond to emails in shared Benefit mailbox and phone inquiries
  • Assist in administration of US health and welfare programs including health insurance (insured and self-insured), life insurance, accident insurance, short and long-term disability, leave, and worker’s compensation
  • Assist in US wellness program for 2,600 employees including organization of annual on-site Health and Wellness Fairs, flu shots and numerous health and fitness programs offered throughout the year
  • Assistance with day to day administration of the Benefits function
  • Prepares reports for management as needed
  • Maintains vendor contacts in assisting employees with information

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in-house administration
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in health plan administration
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related field from accredited four-year university required
  • Knowledge of all pertinent federal and state regulations, including ERISA, ACA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, Workers Compensation, Medicare, Social Security and DOL requirements
  • Knowledge of Oracle Cloud (HCM)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Windows applications
  • Ability to work within a metrics-driven, transactional type environment
