Why This Role Exists

Winslow Automatics is investing in the next generation of manufacturing excellence and seeking a highly skilled CNC Manufacturing Engineer / CNC Programmer who can bridge the gap between engineering, programming, tooling, and production.

This is not a desk-only engineering position. We're looking for a hands-on manufacturing professional who understands machining from the ground up and can drive continuous improvement, develop machining processes, optimize cycle times, and help solve complex manufacturing challenges across aerospace, defense, medical, and industrial programs.

The right candidate will become a key technical leader within the organization, helping shape how parts move from concept to production while mentoring less experienced team members and supporting long-term operational growth.

The Work You'll Be Doing

In this role, you will:

  • Program CNC mills, lathes, turn/mill machines, and multi-axis equipment
  • Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for new and existing products
  • Create tooling, fixturing, and machining strategies that improve quality and efficiency
  • Analyze production challenges and implement practical solutions
  • Increase machining productivity while reducing non-value-added operator time
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing principles
  • Collaborate closely with machinists, quality personnel, engineering, and management
  • Support new product introductions and process development
  • Create and maintain manufacturing documentation and process instructions
  • Work directly with tooling suppliers and vendors
  • Mentor entry-level engineers and technical staff
  • Help drive safety, quality, productivity, and cost-reduction initiatives

---

  • Strong CNC programming experience for both turning and milling applications
  • Proven success machining tight-tolerance precision components
  • Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills
  • 3+ years of SolidWorks and CAD experience
  • Experience developing manufacturing processes and tooling solutions
  • Strong understanding of machining fundamentals, tooling, workholding, and process optimization
