Senior Pastor

Fellowship Baptist Church – Luther, Michigan

Fellowship Baptist Church, an independent, fundamental, KJV Baptist church in Luther, Michigan, is prayerfully seeking a full-time Senior Pastor to provide biblical preaching, teaching, spiritual leadership, and pastoral care for our congregation.

Fellowship Baptist Church has faithfully served the Luther community for more than 50 years. Our church currently has an average attendance of approximately 40 people, and we are seeking a pastor who feels called to shepherd our congregation and help us continue reaching our community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Senior Pastor Responsibilities

The Senior Pastor will:

  • Preach and teach the Word of God faithfully and consistently.

  • Provide spiritual leadership and direction for the church.

  • Shepherd and care for members of the congregation.

  • Encourage spiritual growth, discipleship, and Christian fellowship.

  • Help the church reach people in the surrounding community with the Gospel.

  • Work with church leadership in carrying out the ministry and mission of Fellowship Baptist Church.

Qualifications

We are seeking a pastor who:

  • Has a clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and a demonstrated calling to pastoral ministry.

  • Is committed to biblical preaching and teaching.

  • Agrees with the beliefs and convictions of an independent, fundamental, KJV Baptist church.

  • Demonstrates strong Christian character and pastoral leadership.

  • Has a heart for caring for people and serving a small-town congregation and community.

Compensation & Parsonage

This is a full-time pastoral position. A parsonage is provided as part of the compensation package. Additional compensation details will be discussed with qualified candidates.
