What is a full time chiropractor?

A full time chiropractor is a healthcare professional who specializes in diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal disorders, primarily those involving the spine. Working full time means they typically see patients during regular business hours, often totaling 35-40 hours per week. Chiropractors use hands-on spinal manipulation and other alternative treatments to help alleviate pain, improve mobility, and support overall wellness. They may also provide lifestyle advice, therapeutic exercises, and rehabilitation support as part of their patient care.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a full time chiropractor?

To thrive as a Full Time Chiropractor, you need a Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree, state licensure, and a strong grasp of anatomy, physiology, and manual adjustment techniques. Familiarity with diagnostic imaging tools, electronic health record (EHR) systems, and continuing education certifications is typically required. Exceptional interpersonal skills, patient empathy, and clear communication help build trust and improve patient outcomes. These competencies are essential for delivering effective care, maintaining compliance, and fostering long-term patient relationships in a clinical environment.

What are some typical challenges faced by full time chiropractors and how can they be managed?

Full-time chiropractors often face challenges such as maintaining a steady stream of patients, managing administrative duties alongside clinical care, and staying updated with continuing education requirements. Building strong patient relationships, networking within the community, and utilizing effective practice management software can help address these concerns. Additionally, collaborating with other healthcare professionals can enhance patient outcomes and support professional development.

  • Are passionate about helping patients feel and move better.
  • Enjoy educating patients on the benefits of chiropractic care and healthy lifestyle habits.
  • Value building long-term patient relationships.
  • Want to focus on patient care rather than managing workers' compensation cases, personal injury claims, or insurance billing.
  • Appreciate having mornings available and a schedule that supports family and personal commitments.
  • Are eager to learn, grow, and become an integral part of a thriving clinic and community.
Schedule:
  • Full-time
  • Five days per week, including Saturdays
Compensation & Benefits

  • Performance-based bonus opportunities
  • Company-paid malpractice insurance
  • Positive, supportive, and fun work environment
  • Ongoing training and mentorship
  • Continuing education and professional development opportunities
  • Respectful, team-oriented culture
Responsibilities
  • Conduct patient consultations and review health histories.
  • Perform chiropractic examinations and evaluate neuromusculoskeletal conditions.
  • Develop and communicate appropriate treatment recommendations.
  • Perform manual chiropractic adjustments to the spine and extremities as indicated.
  • Educate patients on the benefits of routine chiropractic care and wellness-based treatment plans.
  • Order and review diagnostic imaging when medically necessary.
  • Analyze x-rays to identify sources of patient complaints and rule out contraindications.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant patient records.
  • Build strong doctor-patient relationships through exceptional care and communication.
  • Provide outstanding patient education and support.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree from an accredited chiropractic college.
  • Passing scores on NBCE Parts I, II, III, and IV (or a recent NBCE SPEC examination in lieu of Part IV).
  • Current Arizona chiropractic license in good standing.
  • Fully eligible for malpractice insurance coverage in Arizona.
