Job description

) Child & Family Support Services (CFSS) is accepting applications for Full Time Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to provide clinical services to families enrolled within our agency throughout Maricopa County.

We are looking for Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) teammates that have:
  • A passion for empowering young people with behavioral health challenges to maximize their potential through mentoring, role-modeling, coaching and other individually-tailored interventions.
  • Implement skill-building activities and behavior coaching tailored to individual needs
  • Collaborate with families, therapists, and other professionals to coordinate care
  • Provide services in the community, home, or other natural settings
  • Ability to relate to and build positive connections with children and adults and be working in a strength-based and family-centered way.
  • Performing other duties related to the position

Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) Education/Experience Needed (one of the following):
  • High school diploma or GED and 2+ years of behavioral health experience
  • Related Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field

Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) Requirements:
  • Must be 21 years or older
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends
  • Valid Arizona Driver's Licence with an acceptable 39 month driving record
  • Reliable transportation, including proof of Insurance
  • Candidates are required to submit a negative drug test
  • Obtain an Arizona DPS Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Complete Adult, Child, and Infant CPR and First Aid training

Compensation:$20/hr to $23/hr
