Job description

Sensors Integration Architect
The Opportunity:
We're seeking a Sensors Integration Architect to drive modernization of an Air Operations Center (AOC) Weapon Systems by advancing how sensor-generated data flows across mission applications, C2 systems, and warfighter decision environments. In this role, you will architect solutions that integrate multi-domain sensors with the evolving AOC application and data ecosystem, reducing manual correlation, strengthening interoperability, and enabling automated, mission-relevant data sharing across air component mission sets. You'll work hands-on with AOC modernization teams to map current and future data pathways, design integration patterns that improve data availability and operational utility and ensure sensor-to-C2 workflows scale to support Block 20 automation objectives and next-generation AOC architectures.
What You'll Work On:
  • Architect integrated data pathways connecting diverse sensor, ISR, and mission applications into a unified, reliable enterprise ecosystem.
  • Develop data models, integration standards, and authoritative data frameworks enabling consistent, high-quality information exchange.
  • Modernize legacy sensor interfaces and transform stove piped systems into interoperable, service-driven components.
  • Conduct architectural assessments identifying bottlenecks, inconsistency sources, and integration risks across complex system chains.
  • Support modeling & simulation, operational threads, interface-control development, and integration testing for modernized data flows.
  • Partner with engineering and cybersecurity teams to ensure end-to-end solutions meet performance, integrity, and resilience requirements.

You Have:
  • 7+ years of experience in systems engineering, data integration, or ISR sensor system development
  • Experience with systems-of-systems integration, data modeling, and enterprise data architecture
  • Experience with middleware, API-driven integration, and modernization of legacy system interfaces
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience designing enterprise architectures for mission, intelligence, or command-and-control (C2) environments
  • Experience with multi-security-domain data routing, cross-domain solutions, and test and evaluation processes
  • Experience architecting high-throughput, real-time sensor data ingestion, and processing pipelines
  • Experience in event-driven and publish or subscribe integration architectures such as DDS and Kafka systems
  • Experience with enterprise messaging technologies, ESBs, and distributed data fabrics
  • Experience with geospatial or ISR data standards such as OGC and STANAG formats
  • Experience integrating systems over constrained, intermittent, or tactical networks
  • Knowledge of digital engineering tools such as SysML, Cameo, and ModelCenter

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
