Royal Caribbean Group's Human Resources Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Analyst, Benefits reporting to the Manager, Global Benefits
Key Responsibilities:
The Benefits Analyst is responsible for administering all health and welfare benefits and voluntary benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, retirement, savings, and financial programs across our global locations. This role partners with the local HR teams, brokers, and service providers and serves as the point of contact for employee benefits questions. The incumbent has independent, analytical, and administrative responsibilities.
Qualifications and Education
  • Assist with processing international shoreside, shipboard and private destinations annual benefit plans renewals, ensure timely completion of enrollments and benefits activation.
  • Compile and analyze employee benefit information for annual plan renewals.
  • Implement new and/or revised international shoreside, shipboard and private destinations benefits programs and assist with notifying employees of changes.
  • Maintain the repository of all international shoreside, shipboard and private destinations benefits offered, update with the changes made during annual renewals and throughout the year.
  • Support benefits enrollment process transformation and automation.
  • Manage day-to-day administration of shipboard health, life and disability benefits.
  • Reconcile and process international shoreside and shipboard benefits invoices.
  • Assist with creating and updating employee educational materials, advise employees on benefits eligibility and provisions.
  • Maintain accurate benefits information in the employee-facing benefits library.
  • Maintain consistent and accurate benefit-related data, assist with data auditing and reporting.
  • Analyze and report benefits data to ensure compliance with plan provisions.
  • Resolve employee benefits inquiries and serve as a liaison with local HR teams, brokers, insurance carriers and service providers.
  • Handle ad hoc benefit projects as needed.

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work across departments.
  • Extensive knowledge of employee benefits and applicable laws.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and SuccessFactors.
  • Strong Excel skills, including the ability to create and manage spreadsheets, use formulas, and analyze data.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree (BA) preferred, with 1-3 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
