Leasing Specialist / Agent - Affordable Housing Rochester, NY
Salary: $19.00 - $21.50 Full Time Monday-Friday 40hrs

What You Bring as a Leasing Specialist
You bring warmth, attention to detail, and professionalism to every interaction:
  • 2+ years of apartment leasing experience preferred.
  • 1 year experience with affordable housing programs (LIHTC, HUD-Section 8, HOME, RD) required.
  • Familiarity with Fair Housing and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in Yardi or similar property management software.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
  • Basic math and data-entry abilities for rent collection and recordkeeping.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) skills are a plus.
  • High school diploma or GED required; COS or TCS certification desired or willingness to obtain.

  • Deliver exceptional service - assist residents with rent collection, service requests, and community communications.
  • Support teamwork - collaborate with maintenance and office staff to maintain high standards for property appearance and safety.
  • Stay organized - manage reports, filing, and data entry to keep operations running smoothly.
