Why This Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Inventory Control Specialist to support accurate inventory movement, tracking, and reconciliation across finished goods, work-in-process inventory, packaging materials, and related systems.
This role works closely with Inventory, Sales Operations, Order Fulfillment, Packaging, and Lab teams to help ensure inventory accuracy, compliance, and operational consistency. The Inventory Control Specialist plays an important role in identifying discrepancies, maintaining organized inventory areas, supporting audits, and helping products move through the business accurately and efficiently.

What You'll Do
  • Perform daily cycle counts and monthly inventory audits
  • Receive finished goods and enter inventory accurately into NAV
  • Receive product from extraction once testing is complete
  • Conduct bi-weekly audits of WIP inventory and maintain organized storage areas
  • Organize finished goods inventory and support accurate inventory movement
  • Identify, research, and correct inventory discrepancies in Metrc and NAV
  • Complete tags in Metrc and maintain accurate physical inventory records
  • Partner with Order Fulfillment and Packaging teams to identify causes of inventory variances
  • Assist with audits of packaging goods, supplies, and dry goods
  • Support Inventory Management with batch selection for packaging based on demand and product profiles
  • Receive rejected or returned product from orders in both NAV and Metrc
  • Provide backup support to Order Fulfillment, including order assembly and quality control
  • Participate in compliance audits, safety trainings, and required documentation processes
  • Maintain understanding and compliance with local regulations as they apply to post-extraction production and delivery, including:
    • General Applicability
    • Licensing and Interests
    • Licensed Premises
    • Medical and Retail Marijuana Infused Products Manufacturing Facilities

Work Environment This role is primarily onsite in Tempe, AZ and requires work within lab, inventory, fulfillment, and office environments. The position follows a standard 40-hour workweek based on operational needs.
The role requires moderate physical activity, including walking, standing, sitting, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 20 pounds. Work may involve handling small or delicate products and using provided personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.
