Description
The Department of Neurological Surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center is offering a full-time research faculty position at all academic levels. We are seeking dynamic individuals dedicated to human subject research focused on advancing science, technology, and translation of brain-computer interfaces (BCI). Applicants must hold a Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree AND demonstrate a background of experience AND PUBLISHED WORK in related areas of study, with graduate training in neuroscience, bioengineering, or computational biology. For those whose careers also encompass clinical care, eligibility or possession of a Texas Medical License is required. We are committed to recognizing and rewarding our faculty's achievements; therefore, the appointment rank will be tailored to reflect each candidate's academic accomplishments and professional experience TO DATE.
