Blood Bank / Hematology Medical Technologist

A healthcare organization is seeking a Blood Bank / Hematology Medical Technologist to join their laboratory team on a full-time permanent basis.

Position Details:

  • Full-time permanent position

Responsibilities:

  • Perform testing in Blood Bank and Hematology departments

  • Conduct compatibility testing, antibody identification, and transfusion-related procedures

  • Analyze and report accurate patient test results

  • Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation

  • Follow quality assurance, quality control, and laboratory safety protocols

  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory standards

  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to support patient care and transfusion services

Requirements:

  • ASCP certification preferred or required for many positions

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field
