Position Overview

As a Grinder in the manufacturing industry, you will play a critical role in ensuring the precision and quality of metal components used in various products. This position focuses on deburring, trimming, and finishing stainless steel and other metal parts to exact specifications, directly contributing to product integrity and performance. The Grinder works closely with engineering and production teams to interpret blueprints and use precision measuring tools to maintain tight tolerances. This role requires proficiency with manual grinding equipment, strong attention to detail, and adherence to safety standards. Ultimately, your expertise helps maintain the company’s reputation for manufacturing excellence and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Operate manual grinders to deburr, trim, and finish metal parts according to specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand required dimensions and tolerances.
  • Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to verify part dimensions and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance and adjustments on grinding equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with quality control and production teams to identify and resolve issues related to part quality or machine operation.
