Independence Plus is now hiring an experienced Healthcare Recruiting and Scheduling Liaison. This is a full-time position, working out of our Oak Brook, IL office. Full benefits available; PTO, medical, dental, vision coverage and 401(k) plan.

The primary responsibilities of a Healthcare Recruiting and Scheduling Liaison is to source, recruit, and assist in the onboarding of nurses, as well as scheduling nurses in patient homes while maintaining relationships with patients and their families and collaborating with field and administrative staff.


Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

  • Schedules and manages a small private duty nursing caseload
  • Develops trusting relationships with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals
  • Screens candidates and negotiates compensation for private duty nurses
  • Coordinates with an interdisciplinary team to resolve scheduling issues
  • Proactively searches and works on multiple recruitment platforms to identify qualified nursing candidates
  • Attends job fairs and networking events quarterly
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred; healthcare scheduling, recruiting, or inside sales experience a bonus
  • Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Tagalog a bonus
  • Strong customer service and teamwork skills
  • Excellent phone and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to be creative, organized, and compassionate
  • Punctual, reliable, and adapts well to change within a growing company
  • Functional proficiency with software including Microsoft Office Suite and online recruiting tools, including LinkedIn
