Job description

Join Aon’s Life Solutions team to help deliver innovative actuarial, capital advisory, and technology solutions to life and annuity insurers across North America. In this role, you will support client engagements focused on capital optimization, M&A and reinsurance transactions, Bermuda regulatory initiatives, and PathWise® actuarial modeling implementations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build, maintain, and analyze actuarial and financial models supporting life insurance capital solutions, reinsurance transactions, M&A activity, and regulatory reporting.
  • Support PathWise® implementation projects, including model conversion, testing, validation, and optimization for valuation, capital, ALM, and reporting purposes.
  • Assist with Bermuda-focused capital and reinsurance projects, including BSCR modeling, stress testing, and capital adequacy analysis.
  • Partner with actuarial, technology, reinsurance, and advisory teams to deliver integrated client solutions.
  • Prepare analyses, presentations, model documentation, and client deliverables while contributing to process improvement and automation initiatives.
  • Participate in client discussions, present technical findings, and support project execution across multiple engagements.
Qualifications
  • actuarial experience within life insurance, reinsurance, or consulting.
  • Experience with actuarial modeling platforms such as Prophet, AXIS, MoSes, PathWise®, or similar tools.
  • Strong knowledge of life and annuity products, valuation, capital modeling, ALM, or risk management.
  • ASA/FSA, ACIA/FCIA, FIA, or equivalent) required
  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or a related quantitative field.
  • Programming experience in Python, R, SQL, VBA, C#, or similar technologies is a plus.

Pay Transparency Laws:

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $220k-$250k annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.  The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive [an annual discretionary bonus] in addition to base salary.  The amount of any [bonus]  varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
