Job description


We are seeking an experienced Compounder to join a fast-paced food manufacturing facility in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This role is responsible for preparing and blending ingredients according to approved formulas while maintaining the highest standards of quality, food safety, and operational efficiency.


Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL

Schedule: Full-Time 4 days a week Monday - Thursday from 7AM - 5PM.


Responsibilities
  • Accurately weigh, measure, and blend ingredients according to batch sheets, formulas, and production schedules.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), batch records, and work instructions to ensure product consistency.
  • Operate blending, mixing, and material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Verify raw materials, lot numbers, and production documentation before beginning each batch.
  • Monitor mixing processes and make adjustments as needed to meet product specifications.
  • Complete batch records and production documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain compliance with GMP, food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety requirements.
  • Collaborate with Production, Quality Assurance, and Warehouse teams to meet daily production goals.
  • Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas between production runs.
  • Report equipment issues, quality concerns, or safety hazards promptly.


Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Compounder, Batch Maker, Mixer, or in a food, beverage, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, or chemical manufacturing environment.
  • Experience reading and following batch sheets, formulas, and production instructions.
  • Knowledge of GMP, food safety, and quality standards.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform accurate measurements and calculations.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Forklift experience is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, and work on your feet throughout the shift.
