Job description

Wilkes University invites applicants for an Assistant Baseball Coach in the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. This is a full-time, 12-month administrative staff position reporting to the Athletics Director and the Head Baseball Coach.

The successful candidate is responsible for assisting the head coach in all facets of the baseball program including recruiting, practice and game management, player development (including junior varsity players), and academic monitoring. This position has additional game management responsibilities within the athletic department.

A Bachelor's degree is required and a Master's degree is preferred. The ideal candidate will have prior collegiate playing and coaching experience. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. Demonstrated knowledge of NCAA and Landmark Conference rules are required as is a commitment to the Division III philosophy.
