Full Charge Bookkeeper
Location: Scarsdale, NY – full-time in office
Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000 depending on experience

About the company:

CFS has partnered with a property management company based in lower Westchester County to help identify their new Full Charge Bookkeeper for their team. This is a high visibility position with the opportunity to learn and grow.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and update the general ledger using accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar platforms.
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis to ensure accuracy of financial data.
  • Prepare and post journal entries, including debits & credits, to reflect all financial transactions.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently.
  • Generate detailed financial reports including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure adherence to GAAP standards and maintain compliance with governmental accounting requirements when applicable.
  • Assist with budgeting processes and provide insights for financial planning.
  • Handle complex technical accounting tasks such as double-entry bookkeeping, general ledger reconciliation, and account analysis.
  • Support external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations of financial records.
Desired Qualifications:
