Job Summary:
Georgia IT, Inc. is seeking a Senior Azure Data Engineer/Architect to join their team. The role involves designing, implementing, and operationalizing large-scale data lake solutions in Azure, as well as integrating multiple third-party data sources for reporting and analytics.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering
• Extensive experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Azure SQL, Power BI, Azure DevOps, Azure Active Directory
• Experience loading multiple third part data sources into aggregated Cloud solution used for reporting and analytics
• 7+ years of experience in Data and Analytics and Data Integrations
• 5+ years of experience in big data stack and solutions, including cloud technologies
• 5+ years of designing, implementing and successfully operationalizing large-scale data lakes solutions in production environments using Big data Stack (On-prem and Azure)
• 3+ years of experience in architecting and implementing end to end Azure cloud big data solutions.
• 3+ years of experience implementing Real-time Solutions & data integrations
• Solid understanding of Azure Cloud Stack including ADF Data flows, Event Hub, Databricks, HDInsight, Azure DevOps
• Communication and presentation skills, to articulate functionality, issues and risks with business communities
Preferred:
• Professional training and certifications in various big data solutions (Preferred).
• Experience with Hadoop, HIVE, HBase, Spark, Kafka, Synapse or Snowflake a plus
