Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clientsโ€™ mental health to accurately identify their needs and create personalized treatment plans that align with therapeutic goals.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapy techniques across individual, group, and family sessions, tailoring approaches based on client needs and presenting issues.
  • Collaborate closely with case managers, psychiatrists, and other mental health professionals to provide cohesive care aimed at positive outcomes for clients.
  • Respond effectively to crisis situations, providing immediate support and intervention to clients experiencing acute distress, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Participate in community outreach initiatives designed to enhance mental health awareness, provide education, and reduce the stigma surrounding mental health treatment.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • Must possess an active and independent license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
  • A masterโ€™s degree or doctorate in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, vital for establishing rapport and fostering therapeutic relationships with a wide array of clients.
  • Strong organizational abilities and time-management strategies to ensure accurate documentation and timely follow-up on treatment plans.
  • Cultural competence and sensitivity to work effectively with clients from different backgrounds, contributing to the quality of care provided.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience in a community health clinic or similar setting preferred, equipping you with the skills necessary for this role.
  • Experience working in crisis situations, showcasing your ability to manage acute mental health episodes with composure and empathy.
