Aviation Buyer
LHH Recruitment is hiring on a direct hire basis for an Aviation Buyer for our client in Tempe, AZ. In this role you will be supporting the purchasing team with buying parts, repair services and other materials for operation of the company's aircraft. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services.
Responsibilities:
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring quality products and services are delivered on time
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify needs and requirements for goods and services
  • Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures related to procurement and purchasing
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all procurement activities
Requirements:
  • Minimum of two years of experience as a Buyer in the aviation industry
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or a related field preferred but relevant experience will also be sufficient.
  • Strong negotiating skills and experience in supplier management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
